Where do I enter a Homeland Combo Code?
On PC, the documented path is Homeland → Build (7) → Home Design (F7) → Shared Design → Import Set. Enter the creator's eight-character code and confirm. Then inspect the imported Combo before placing it.
Importing and placing are separate steps. If the design appears in your saved list, move to the placement checks below. If it never appears, start with the code, its server and the import message.
Menu path: MOANIIMO's illustrated PC walkthrough, updated 7 October. The official 3 September developer letter confirms furniture-group sharing via codes, but does not document these menus.
Import a layout in five steps
- Get the code and its context. Keep the creator's server region and a picture of the intended design beside the code. For a house shared in sections, label each part before starting.
- Open the design menu. In your Homeland, enter Build with 7 on the documented PC controls, then open Home Design with F7 or its toolbar icon.
- Choose the import action. Open Shared Design, select Import Set, paste the eight-character code and confirm. Copy the code itself without surrounding labels or punctuation.
- Inspect the returned design. Compare its appearance and furniture list with the creator's example. Stop here if it is the wrong section or a different build.
- Check placement separately. Review the furniture, size and intended area before committing a placement. Use the controls shown by your client; console button equivalents are not verified here.
Keep the original post available until you have identified every section you want. A cropped screenshot may hide which code belongs to which part. If the author has several designs in one post, make a small list pairing each label with its code instead of repeatedly trying unlabeled strings.
Combo Code not working? Start with the exact symptom
Record what happened after Confirm. A rejected code, an unexpected design and a placement warning point to different checks. Change one thing at a time so you can tell which action affected the result.
“This combo code does not exist”
Check all eight characters, trim spaces and confirm the creator's region. MOANIIMO reports server-specific codes. Check that the author shared a furniture-group Combo for Shared Design → Import Set, rather than a whole-Home Blueprint for a different importer. Ask whether the creator removed or replaced it, and for a current regional code.
Lookup precedes placement. Missing furniture or a full saved-design list does not establish a nonexistent code; record the message, whose wording can vary by build.
The wrong design appears
Compare the preview with the author's picture and check the region. Players in this Combo Code thread report different imported designs across regions. Import success alone does not establish that you found the intended build.
Furniture says “Not Collected”
AniimoTools' Home guide says required pieces must be in the bag or Home storage; already-placed furniture does not count. Compare the exact item and required quantity with your bag, storage and existing placements before acquiring duplicates. Importing shares an arrangement, not free furniture. Having an item available and being allowed to place another copy are separate checks.
Furniture Placement Limit Exceeded
A valid code and correct preview can still fail placement. Check the destination's capacity or load counter, then any per-item limit on repeated furniture. Free floor space alone does not establish either kind of capacity.
Review matching pieces already placed, including other zones, without assuming a shared limit. Record your arrangement before testing a small storage adjustment. Cross-zone storage is a community-reported workaround, not a guaranteed fix. If individual placement works but the Combo fails, record that difference and the highlighted item for support.
These fan and community checks do not verify current-build caps across regions. Follow your client's limits; no official numerical cap or patch fix is established here.
Not enough tiles or space
Compare the Combo's size with the usable area. A clear-looking patch and a large enough placement area are different checks. Do not assume changing the code will fix a footprint warning.
The area does not match
AniimoTools distinguishes Production areas for facilities from Homebuilding areas for structural pieces. Read the placement warning and check the destination. Owning the furniture does not answer where that group can go.
You cannot save another set
Inspect your Shared Design list and the exact message. MOANIIMO reports a saved-set limit and a restriction on importing your own code. Preserve any design you want before deleting saved entries.
If the preview matches and these checks do not explain the failure, record the exact furniture or facility entry the game highlights. Do not upgrade, dismantle or replace it solely because someone with a similar-looking build succeeded. A useful bug report names the failed action and shows the warning; “code broken” leaves the failure stage unclear.
Placement checks above are source-reported from AniimoTools, page dated 20 October; cross-region feedback is a player report. Neither source establishes a guaranteed fix for every current build.
Three examples: choose the next check
These are illustrative troubleshooting scenarios, not working codes or game tests. Use the pattern that matches your screen, then stop when the evidence points somewhere else.
A code imports, but the house looks different
Suppose your creator plays on APAC and your character is on America. The imported preview differs from their image. First confirm that you copied the right section, then ask whether the author has an America version. Do this before gathering furniture for the unexpected preview. A material checklist for the wrong design would solve a different task.
The preview is correct, but one piece is missing
Suppose the furniture list flags a cabinet you recognize from your existing room. Compare the exact item and its listed quantity, then check its storage state. Plan where the existing cabinet will go before moving it. If the warning changes after that one adjustment, note the new message instead of continuing through unrelated fixes. This approach makes the next question specific: which remaining item or placement condition is blocking the Combo?
A creator shares a house as several Combos
Suppose a post labels separate floor, wall and furnishing sections. Keep those labels with the codes and compare each preview. Ask the creator for the intended order or alignment reference when it is unclear. Do not infer that importing one section includes all the others. This October player thread shows a segmented APAC build and a reply describing a separate America reconstruction; it is an example of sharing context, not a maintained directory of valid codes.
Before changing a Homeland you already use
Take your own reference pictures of any arrangement you want to preserve. Note which furniture is currently serving a room or facility. A preview is a chance to inspect the new group; it is not evidence that replacing an existing layout will be reversible in every circumstance.
AniimoTools warns that Restore Current Area empties the area; it should not be treated as an undo button for your original house. Avoid using it as a general code-troubleshooting step. If you cannot explain what an action will remove, pause that action and check its in-game confirmation text.
For unresolved failures, keep a compact record: server region, platform, the action attempted, the exact error and a screenshot of the relevant preview or item. Share it through the game's support channel if needed. Remove account identifiers from anything you post publicly. This page cannot inspect your save or validate a code for your server.
Homeland Combo Code questions
What does “Furniture Placement Limit Exceeded” mean in Aniimo?
A recognized design can still be blocked at placement. Check the destination's overall capacity and any per-item restriction on repeated furniture. The placement-limit checks help separate those possibilities; the warning alone does not prove the code is invalid.
Why can't I place an imported Combo even though I have free space?
Free floor space is not the same as furniture capacity. Check placement limits, the group's footprint and its allowed destination area separately. Matching pieces already placed may also matter, depending on the restriction shown.
Is “Not Collected” the same as “Placement Limit Exceeded”?
No. Start with item availability and storage for Not Collected; start with permission to place more furniture for a placement-limit warning. A tiles or area warning needs a size or destination check. Solving one does not prove the others are satisfied.
Can I fix a Combo placement error by storing furniture from another Homeland zone?
This is a reported workaround, not a confirmed fix. Record your setup and test a small, reversible change; do not dismantle a working room.
Can the Aniimo Homeland Calculator check my Combo Code or furniture placement limit?
No. The Aniimo Homeland Ability Calculator compares your entered workers with Home ability headcount requirements. It cannot query game servers, validate a code, read your furniture inventory or calculate placement caps. Check codes in the in-game importer. For supported recipes and usable material stock, use the separate recipe and materials planner; it does not decode a Combo's furniture list.
Is this the same as a gift redemption code?
No. This guide concerns a shared furniture arrangement imported in Homeland. It does not cover gift rewards, character appearance codes or promo redemption. Check what the original author is sharing before choosing an input screen.
Does importing give me the furniture?
Do not plan on receiving free items from an import. Inspect the design's requirements and the furniture you can actually use. The code helps identify an arrangement; your ownership and placement readiness still need separate checks.
Can I use the PC shortcuts on console?
The key labels here come from the cited PC walkthrough. We have not verified controller equivalents. Look for the named Home Design and Shared Design actions in your client rather than treating keyboard keys as console instructions.
Can this website test whether my code is valid?
No. There is no code checker or game connection here. Confirm the result inside your own client and region. A code appearing in a post, or working for its author, does not verify the result for your character.
Do I need every section of a shared house?
Follow the author's labels and decide which part you want to reproduce. Ask how the pieces fit together when that information is absent. A screenshot of the finished house alone may not explain the boundaries of each saved group.
Does a working layout prove my workers can run it?
No. Furniture placement does not establish worker ownership, ability coverage or production speed. Once you know which supported outputs you need, use the shared material planner for a combined stock calculation, the Woodworking Bench guide for wood-product checks, or worker references for a separate staffing question.
